Teacher’s Pick: CloudOn
Who better to recommend apps than one of our teachers? This week, Mrs Roshea Buksh, our Digital Learning Coordinator, shares her…
Finally – an app that allows you to open, view, and edit in Microsoft Office and wait for it – it's free. With the added bonus of doing it all in the cloud. It's called CloudOn and the latest version 4.0 means it is even more efficient and effective. This app syncs with a number of cloud servers such as Dropbox, Box, and Google Docs.
I've recommended it to a number of my students who did not have Pages, Numbers, or Keynote because of the cost. They can now work in this environment on their iPad – that is, they can view, edit and save their updates. The Microsoft Office environment is now accessible on the iPad and it's FREE!
The students love it and so do I. Check it out. Click on the link below.
